The ifo business climate index rose to 86.2 points in June, up from 79.7 points (seasonally adjusted) in May. This is the strongest increase ever measured. The current situation was assessed somewhat better by the companies. Their expectations also made a clear upward leap. The German economy sees light at the end of the tunnel.
